What Fair Oaks Farm is leading the public to believe isn’t all what it’s cracked up to be. It is set up, really like an amusement park. TOUR GUIDE: Now, these cows enjoy the ride we want to be known that there is something about this this carousel that gives them the opportunity to look across at the other cows that’s very positive, very relaxing. Cows hate the rotary system. The average age for a Fair Oaks Farm dairy cow is four to five years old. They’re living on cement. They’re living in their own feces. They’re being forcefully impregnated on a yearly basis, only to have those babies ripped from them the moment they’re born. Moments after giving birth, right away that cow is thrown out to the milking carousel with afterbirth still protruding from her back end. Some of the afterbirth is actually entering the food chain, into the dairy as these cows are being milked. It’s completely, incredibly unsanitary. Cows were reluctant to get onto the milking carousel. They were beaten. Whipped. Punched. Kicked. They were slapped. Metal rods were thrusted into their sides. Cows were falling from exhaustion, from injuries right on the milking carousel itself. Cows were falling through the milking carousel onto the dairy floor. Cows could not get up. There were downer cows everywhere on the milking carousel.
Cows could not get up. There were downer cows everywhere on the milking carousel. They had to be strapped. Tails are actually being snapped on the cows that are misbehaving, quote unquote, that won’t enter the milking stalls on the rotary system. The cows are impregnated every year of their life. When it can no longer produce dairy, that cow receives no medical care whatsoever. That cow is left many times in the hangars to suffer and die. Record number of calves are dying at Fair Oaks Farm. They’re keeping the press regulated into one specific zone that is staged. No one would buy the Fair Oaks Farm and Fairlife products if they knew the amount of animal abuse that occurred on their properties. The dairy is being distributed by the Coca-Cola corporation. They are the money behind the dairy. Coca-Cola is responsible for the beatings that these animals are enduring on a daily basis. Coca-Cola needs to get out of the dairy industry. Animal Recovery Mission, stemming from our investigations of Fair Oaks Farms, are hopeful that felony arrests will occur. From our first day, to our last day, while undercover at Fair Oaks Farms, not once were we trained on proper handling of cows. One or two different arrests by law enforcement is not going to cure the issue in the dairry industry. It’s not going to stop the animal cruelty. The only thing that’s going to stop the animal cruelty is literally ending the industry. We want people to understand that these cows are being abused because people are buying the products. People are aiding in the abuse. If we all stopped purchasing dairy, there would be no dairy industry. There would be no calves being abused, being sent to veal and mothers beaten to enter a milking station. These companies would be closed. The buyer is supporting this industry. And that was me, and that’s you. And just like I did, you can make the change.
